Vintage Classic Boys Bathroom Design

I can’t believe we are at the point in our home building process where it is time to finalize designs and finishes!

One of the rooms I am most excited about is the boys bathroom (weird I know!), but I am just so excited about the vintage mall mount reproduction sinks that so perfectly complete this vintage classic boys bathroom design!

In our floor plan below, you can see that the boys will share a Jack and Jill style bathroom: they each have their own sink, and then they will share the shower.

When I saw this space I immediately knew that it would be perfect for two vintage wall mount reproduction sinks!

If you remember the boys new shared bedroom, then you probably noticed that I am continuing that same classic theme into their bathroom as well. Lots of white, navy accents, & wood finishes.

Classic, vintage-inspired, and timeless! Perfect for two little boys 🙂

Classic vintage boys bathroom design

Floor Tile: I will use this timeless small white hexagon mosaic tile on the floor with a light gray grout.

Shower Tile: The shower will be tiled with a classic white subway tile with a light gray grout.

Sink: The real showstopper of this bathroom will be these beautiful vintage reproduction wall mount sinks! I searched high and low for a budget friendly wall mount sink (they can be so pricey!). I found these on Etsy and I am so impressed with everything about them and this company. They are made in the USA, the owner of the company is so responsive and great to work with, and he quickly sent me samples in the mail when requested. I love supporting small, American businesses!

Faucet: I love this vintage inspired wall mount faucet. You won’t believe the price on this one!

Wall Mount Soap and Toothbrush Holder: Since the boys won’t have a vanity (no storage!), I fell in love with these vintage reproduction wall mount soap, cup, and toothbrush holder.

Vanity Light: A classic school house inspired vanity light. Another high-end Amazon dupe and you won’t believe the price on this one!

Vintage Medicine Cabinet: No link for these because they were another one of my Facebook Marketplace Finds! I knew that this bathroom just called for a set of matching vintage wood medicine cabinets. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a matching set, but had come to think that was an impossible feat! Well lo and behold, one day I saw this matching set pop up just down the road! I paid $60 for the set and they are in immaculate condition. I love the towel bar on the bottom of them.

Hand Towel: The towel bar on those vintage medicine cabinets are just calling for a set of monogrammed hand towels!

Buffalo Check Roman Shade: The boys have a window right behind their sinks and I think this navy buffalo check roman shade will be perfect! It will allow natural light to pour in, but they also have the option to close it for privacy if needed.

Rug: A cute navy bathmat with fringe tassels. Let’s be real, I wouldn’t pay this price so I will be on the lookout for one at HomeGoods instead 😉

Walls: I plan on doing a beadboard treatment on the walls, and I’m still undecided on paint color! I am considering Sherwin Williams Pure White for the trim and beadboard, and a softer white like Alabaster for the walls.

vintage medicine cabinets: facebook marketplace find

A closer look at the vintage medicine cabinets I found on Facebook Marketplace! I think they will be perfect for this space. I am going to give them a light sanding and apply a fresh coat of stain and polyurethane. I love the vintage knob and towel bar! (Even though those knobs need to be evened out – they are killing me!) Facebook Marketplace comes through again 🙂
